Maybe...

I should change the name of my blog to Heather's NKOTB Blog...

I still have some things to say about them.

After going on and on about the show to friends at work, one of them asked..."I know you liked the concert and all, but dont you feel weird being 30 and all and going to a concert like that?"

I immediately said "No way!! It was great!! I didnt feel weird or strange in any way shape or form!" Seriously, there is nothing wrong with revisiting the old days, it brings back all kinds of memories about my childhood, for some people their concerts solidified relationships, one of the girls that went with us had been to 3 of their concerts back in the day. How could she not go to this one!!!

It was a blast! So to those who read this blog that were big fans of the guys back in the day, who was your fave??

Donnie
Danny
Joey
Jonathan
Jordan

Mine back in the day was Joey, he is the youngest.

And another question. What was the best concert you have ever been to?

This one and U2 were the best I have ever been to, they were both right up front..but now that I think about it...the Limp Bizkit show where we got on the floor was pretty awesome too (minus the part where I almost died in the mosh pit, thank god Poppa T was there to save me!)

It's OFFICIALLY OVER

I cant really say how great it was. It was awesome. The guys still got it, if not more than they did back in the day.

Does God love me??

God, I'LL BE LOVING YOU FOREVER? Do you not love me??

Sigh...since tickets went on sale during the SUMMERTIME, we (Big Sis, BFF Special K & Dawn), have been planning a girls night out to see the best boy band ever..feast your eyes..
So, the little one has to come home from the sitter yesterday from throwing up...so I start to tense..its LOOKING LIKE DANGER..he is fine this morning, but I have been waiting for the phone call all day. Chris is working, I rode in with someone else, My cousin has kids of her own and is pregnant and is very busy. My mom is waiting for the adjuster and my dad is in the hospital...cripes!
So in waiting for that phone call, I get another call instead, from Haden's school nurse! Haden, not Christian is throwing up..sigh...ok, what to do...luckily my mom was at the hospital with dad, she does not know for sure about the adjuster, she hasn't heard back...so she is going to get him...THANK YOU MOM!! I OWE YOU!! But Jeez...how often do I get to do something like this??? Do I not have THE RIGHT STUFF? But I am always HANGIN TOUGH?? Normally, all I have to do is say CLICK, CLICK, CLICK and I can get it done!! Please dont ruin TONIGHT??? You have me all TWISTED worrying about my babies and them being sick without me!!! I want to see some LIGHTS, CAMERA , ACTION!! Lord, just PUT IT ON MY TAB, Ill make it up later I promise! Just give me till 2 IN THE MORNING! I guess I just need to take the rest of the day STEP BY STEP!!
Te-he...I should take my act on the road....
UPDATE: My mom picked up Haden and is going to drop him off with Chris at work (at the hospital). Good place for him. That way my mom can spend her time dealing with my dad! I feel much better. I hate to inconvenience her with all she has going on right now. I guess God does love me!
Tasha, I hope you get to feeling better as well!

Economy, Shmnonomy, who cares??

OK, so as my BFF Hostess with the Mostess K knows, I am a little obsessed with gas prices. The economy is going to hell, we are all going to have to work 10 more years to retire, we couldnt get a mortgage to save our life...who cares!!! All that matters is that gas is now under $3.00 a gallon. Weekend before last I was running around in the huge honkin, gas guzzling bus and I saw a site that made my heart melt. Gas for $2.99 a gallon...sigh....I think I about fainted right there....I was so happy, I had to call Special K and tell her. Although I was carrying my camera around that day, I didnt get a snapshot of the momentus sign but for some reason I got fired up as I drove around not too far from that sign and saw this....

WHAT??? Are you kidding me?? Look guys, the hurricane is long gone, no need for price gauging now..what losers!!!...how can it be so much more right down the road!! It makes me angry!!! Grrrr... There better not be one person who reads this blog that should be paying more than 3.00 a gallon. Drive a few more blocks to get the cheaper stuff!

Anyway, this was a week or so ago and just so you know, I filled up for $2.69 yesterday...life is good...oh yes ,it is...for me, its the little things.

Because I drive a school bus, I need to save money everywhere for things like this....

CRIPES!!! What the &*^%$#&#!!! Good grief...I was only gone for less than an hour!! How did this happen??? I didnt notice any problems when I was driving home from DOWNTOWN.. Argghhh.. wouldnt be so bad if I hadn't JUST put 4 brand new tires on the kidlet transporter right before the storm..jeez..I have had lots of problems with the tires on this giant piece of $%^()@!! Anyways..luckily, Poppa T was there and quickly took care of the situation, cuz God knows I wasnt going to change it..pleazzzzz...the tire place said there was a hole or something and fixed it right up....

Hey, do you think the government can bail me out from all the debt I incurred while having to pay almost $4.00 a gallon for gas for the last however many months?

No??

Well, why not?

Everyone else gets a bailout???

But I digress.....

Funnies..

A few lawyer funnies..who doesnt like to make fun of lawyers?? BTW, I got this from a lawyer..

  • What is the difference between a lawyer and a vampire? A vampire only sucks blood at night.

  • What do you call 5000 dead lawyers at the bottom of the ocean? A good start!

  • What is the difference between a lawyer and a vulture? The lawyer gets frequent flyer miles.

  • Where can you find a good lawyer? In the cemetery.

Remember the movie and series the Dead Zone? We need that guy..

I try to keep with the basics in politics, I have my opinions sure, who doesn't, and I try not to judge people for their opinions and their choice, but I just dont understand how Obama can have such a mad following when it is so obvious what his true intentions are. I am also not one to really worry to much who the candidates hang out with and do business with but please, how can we not question his relationship with such radicals as Ayers? I mean, this guy blew things up for Christ's sake. If I were wanting to get into politics and was introduced to Bill Ayers, once learning who he was and his past, I would run as fast as I could in the opposite direction, unless of course I had no problem with him blowing up the capital. Seriously, I am by no means saying McCain is the perfect candidate, he definitely has problems, but Obama is downright scary with his Pastor, friends and his "community organizing"(see this article) The guys screams socialist but so many just dont see that or dismiss his past as coincidental or not relevant. I sure hope his lead does not stick, I am truly afraid of what could happen with him in the white house. I know that there are many who say the same things about Palin and how they are "afraid" of her. I just dont see the correlation, I can definitely see how Democrats would not agree with her on the issues, but afraid? Come on...
